Vibrant World Review

Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers notice a specific part of the natural world with fresh care. Send proposals through the Contact page, with the form reason set to editorial question, and include a working title, a short summary and the category that seems closest.

What makes a good pitch

A strong proposal begins with a distinct question: perhaps why a particular plant form catches light, how a familiar landscape changes through the year, or what makes an animal pattern easy to recognise. Keep the idea focused, explain what a reader will take away, and show how the piece can be accurate without relying on dramatic claims.

A careful fit

We consider original, clearly written features for general readers, including explainers, comparisons, natural histories and observation-led essays. Pitches should avoid professional advice, unsupported certainty and claims that depend on access to restricted places or specialist fieldwork. Please do not send a complete manuscript unless invited.
